The visa fee for Schengen visas will be  increased from 80 to 90 euro in accordance with the Delegated Regulation of the European Commission n. 2024/1415 of 03/14/2024. Due to transit time and to ensure that all applications reaching  the Greek Consulates in South Africa are in compliance with the new rules, the following will apply: -

• Johannesburg Visa Application Centre:- Starting from June 11, 2024, all applications submitted will be subject to the new 90-euro fee. 

• Cape Town Visa Application Centre :- Starting from June 10, 2024, all applications submitted will be subject to the new 90- euro fee.

• Durban Visa Application Centre:- Applications on June 10, 2024 will not be accepted since delivery to the Consulate cannot be guaranteed on time. Starting from June 11, 2024, all applications submitted will be subject to the new 90-euro fee.
